With spring well and truly upon us, we’ve had a month of rain, sun, wind, thunder and all in between, but life at St George’s has continued to thrive despite some nasty illnesses doing the rounds. Our Pancake party was full of sugar (obviously) and many thanks to Alex and Janet for the usual feast.  On Ash Wednesday we not only had two services but also went out and about alongside Timperley Parish and St Albans with our now annual Ashes to Go.  In the background, we’ve been plotting and planning for Easter, and also getting ready to send some shoeboxes over to Romania – more details in the rest of this newsletter! We’re also working hard behind the scenes with our plans to install a toilet and servery – as you can imagine, with a Grade 2 listed building, this requires lots of thought and sensitivity. More details to come.
