Maundy Thursday: A Service of Love and Watching
Come and be part of our traditional Maundy Thursday Service as we remember Jesus’ last supper with his friends — a night of love, service, and quiet devotion.
It was the night that Jesus shared a final meal with His friends, washed their feet, and gave us a new commandment: "Love one another as I have loved you."
Through prayer, scripture, and the symbolic Stripping of the Altars, we will journey with Jesus from the shared meal to the silence of Gethsemane.
As the church is gently cleared and lights are dimmed, we are invited to watch, wait, and reflect on the depth of Christ’s love.
The evening will include:
• Holy Eucharist (Communion)
• Hand Washing (optional)
• The Stripping of the Altar
• Silent Watch at the Altar of Repose
It’s one of the most meaningful services of Holy Week — and we’d love you to be part of it.
