Making our spaces available to our community
(our administrator works Tues-Thurs 9am-1pm, so don’t panic if you don’t hear back straight away!)
We are delighted to offer our Parish Centre Hall for hire. This bright, spacious, and welcoming venue is a highly flexible space, suitable for everything from celebrations, children's parties, and community events to exercise classes, craft groups, workshops, and meetings.
The hall benefits from a kitchen and modern toilet facilities, including accessible provision, all conveniently located on a single level.
Whether you are planning a one-off event or looking for a regular venue, we would be delighted to show you around and help you explore the possibilities.
It costs £28 per hour, with a £40 deposit.
Parish Centre
Our well maintained Meeting Room is ideal for smaller groups. It comes with tables, chairs, a projector screen and is fully carpeted. It has access to toilets (including a disabled one) and is all on one level.
It costs £20 per hour, with a £40 deposit.
Meeting Room
Our Old School Building is a simple, versatile, and affordable space, ideal for craft groups, exercise classes, meetings, workshops, and a wide range of community activities.
The building includes an airy hall upstairs, basic kitchen facilities for refreshments and light catering and toilet facilities on the ground floor .
Hire costs are just £10 per hour, making it an excellent option for regular groups, one-off events, and local organisations.

Old School Building
Our grounds
We are fortunate to be surrounded by attractive green spaces and church grounds that provide a beautiful backdrop for photography, including wedding photographs. We are also open to exploring opportunities for appropriate outdoor events and community activities.
As our church sits within a residential area, any outdoor use is subject to reasonable restrictions around timing, noise levels, and consideration for our neighbours.

Whether you are planning a concert, exhibition, lecture, recording, or performance, St George's offers a distinctive venue in the heart of Altrincham. Our beautiful Grade II-listed church combines historic character with exceptional acoustics and can accommodate audiences of up to 500 people.
As a living church at the centre of our community, we welcome a wide range of events that are respectful of the building's Christian purpose and heritage.

We have a number of car parking lots available for long term hire.
From just £4 a day, they are cheaper than commerically run car parks.
Advertise with us here at St Georges: Monthly Newsletter
Advertising in our monthly Newsletter is an ideal way for local, small business to reach out to the local community. Our newsletter is emailed to all the families at our neighbouring Altrincham CE Primary School. It also goes out to our internal mailing list that currently stands at 170 and continues to grow. It is also put up on our ‘A Church Near You’ website which in the last year had over 12,000 hits. We are now intending to post it on this website, and on our social media accounts as well.
