🎉✨ The Nativity Journey is back!✨🎉
Altrincham is getting ready to shine as the much-loved Lantern Parade & Nativity Journey returns on Saturday 13th December 2025!

We’re so excited to be teaming up with Altrincham BID and the Altrincham Garrick Playhouse to bring the Nativity story to life across our town — with music, storytelling, lanterns and lots of festive magic. And the best bit? It’s completely FREE!

🌟 Here’s what’s happening:
🕛 From 12 noon – Pick up your Nativity Trail Card in Stamford Square and set off on your adventure! Meet characters from the Nativity at locations throughout Altrincham.
🎶 Enjoy live performances from local schools and community choirs on the Stamford Square stage all afternoon.
🎨 Lantern-making workshops at OYEZ Arts in Altrincham Town Hall (bookable on Eventbrite).
🕓 4pm – Gather in Goose Green with your lanterns!
🕟 4.45pm – The magical Lantern Parade sets off, featuring the full Nativity cast, lantern puppets, schoolchildren and the brilliant Sale District Scout & Guide Band.
🌠 5.30pm – The parade ends in Stamford Square for a stunning Live Nativity Performance you won’t want to miss.
