One off Services & Events

With you every step of the way
New Here?

A church for all ages

and for all seasons

During the year we are delighted to hold a number of one off events and services.

From the classic services of Harvest, Nativities, Christingles, to Easter Crafts and summer games.

Then there are also the various social events that pop-up too -visits to the bowling alley, or summer picnics in the park.

Keep an eye out on here or our social media for more information!

Festival Services

During the year we have speical services for different seasons, we call these ‘Festival Services’ – think services such as Harvest, Remembrance, Nativities, Christingle, Easter….

These services are designed with families in mind and are a great place to create family memories and traditions.

They are also very easy to be part of  – so a great place to start if church is new to you.

One off events

We love our one off events! From crafts days to parties and plans for a summer holiday club, these are wonderful communities for your children to be part of!

After our Christmas party, Sarah commented that “I can honestly say my little girl has never had so much fun!”

Social times & outings!

Having an outing with friends is just so much fun!

These tend to pop-up over the year – a trip bowling, or an arranged meet up in the park. Sometimes these are advertised widely, at others they are advertised to our ‘regular’ children & their families, sometimes being organised during one of our groups for the weekend ahead, just because everyone is in the mood!

Plan Your Visit

You can find us at St George’s Church, Church Street, Altrincham, Greater Manchester. WA14 4DB. Parking is available both in front of church, in the car park in front of the Parish Centre and (outside of school hours) also with our neighbouring school, Altrincham CE Primary School just off Townfield Road, WA14 4DS.

Special Needs?

We know it can be daunting going to a new place if you or someone you know or are responsible for, have special needs. We are committed to making our church as inclusive as possible, so please do get in touch to discuss how we might enable St George’s to be a place for you.

First time?

We know that joining a new group can be hard, especially when you’ve not been there before or don’t know anyone.

Please be assured that nearly everyone starts off in the same boat, and that we are very relaxed and go out of our way to make you feel quickly at home.

If you are feeling particuarly anxious, and would like to meet a ‘friendly face’ before going in, or perhaps have a quick phone call to check everything out, do get in touch here and we can easily arrange it.
