It was wonderful to welcome KS1 and KS2 into church today as we brought the Easter term to a close. The pupils did the readings beautifully – so confident and clear, and in front of such a huge audience too! Then the Year 3s did the prayers, and again, they were really thoughtful and articulate: we swelled with pride listening to them! Much fun was then had as we used chocolate to explore the Easter Story – Rev. Claire’s not quite sure how much of the story everyone will remember (!!) but is confident that they will remember all the chocolate that got given out; she was laughing as she joked that she felt like a mother bird with a nest full of chicks demanding the next feed…..! Hope everyone has a wonderful Easter, and we’re really looking forward to seeing everyone next term.
